Term 2 Reflection!

Reflect on one key event and one key learning experience in term 2

My favorite reflect  event is the school production the name is Fresh & smooth it was two yoghurt containers that got chucked in the sea and did not got recycled my class did a business theme in Wellington in front of the Beehive for my class song is the walkie talkie  man and here is a link if you want to listen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7UvbwCjXUk 

My favorite learning experience is Garden to Table because you get to cook or go gardening. There are 2 groups, the is fruit and vegetables. I am in fruit. My favorite food to eat in Garden to Table is sushi, pizza & dumplings and apple crumble.

What was a Major Success for us in Term One in Room 8?

 This term Room 8 had to make friends and mete Moore.  I made friends  in the class with Christian and Byeson.   Mr Moore likes the Highlanders  and a group of boys in Room 8 support  the Blues. They were making fun of Mr Moore because  it was Highlanders vs the Blues .They wore their  Blues gear and teased Mr Moore. We had a good laugh.

How has our backyard evolved over time

First there are trees, Maori people and they live in a village. Over time, things were changing because people were coming from Britain to live in new zealand. Next, Maori people are wearing British clothes and live in new buildings. They built new shops and people moved here from over the world. Also sports like rugby and soccer. New cities get built.Then transport was made like cars trucks. Finally Technology like cell phones computers came to NZ.

Maui Dolphins

Today we watched a clip about Jacinda Adern the Prime Minister of New Zealand. She likes to read kids letters. The kids want to save the Maui Dolphins and the Government is saving up money to buy drones.The drones fly and take photos of the Maui Dolphins.They willl know where the Maui Dolphins are and then they can take care of them. Pollution and fishing has killed Maui Dolphins.Maui Dolphins are found in New Zealand oceans.

Pros and Cons of Lockdown Learning

Last week there was a little lock down. The pros of lock down learning are you don't have to get up early in the in the morning and you can do school work when you want to. Cons with lock down learning are you can't play with your friends and you can,t go food shopping with Mum.
